Rich is a versatile musician with a profound passion for wind instruments, showcasing his mastery of the alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone, and flute. His musical odyssey commenced in the 8th grade with the flute, fueled by a dream to join the symphony and emulate the legendary Hubert Laws. At 15, attending his inaugural concert headlined by the band Chicago, he was captivated by the soulful resonance of horns, igniting a profound interest in the saxophone and jazz. Rich views being in a band as akin to being part of a team, emphasizing the collaborative spirit where each member contributes their unique creativity to enhance the collective sound.
